Woodworking has been my creative passion for over 30 years. In recent years my focus has been almost exclusively on the "rustic style" of woodworking. I love the concept of taking a simple twig, stick, limb or log and turning it into something that will be treasured for generations to come. It is especially satisfying to craft beautiful, functional items by hand using the natural form of the wood.

I make my home in the scenic and beautiful woods of Northern Michigan...where most of the materials for my pieces are also found. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Northern Michigan, I try to bring a little of that beauty to each original piece. Each piece is as unique and varied as Northern Michigan itself.

Each item I create is crafted one at a time and is truly a unique, one of a kind item. There will never be another item exactly like it anywhere in the world. With careful attention to material selection, assembly and finish, I strive for a product that will last a lifetime and beyond. My desire is for each item I craft to become an heirloom...a treasure for future generations.
